Gas-assisted molding rice cooker (handle)
Improved product rigidity, enhanced solution, reduced shrinkage, and consideration for weight reduction! It is possible to significantly mitigate the drawbacks of conventional molding.
We would like to introduce a case study of a rice cooker (with a handle) produced using gas-assisted molding. Instead of maintaining high pressure during the holding phase after resin filling in conventional injection molding, nitrogen gas is injected to maintain pressure (low pressure) from inside the product, significantly reducing the occurrence of issues such as sink marks, warping, and burrs that are common in traditional molding. By using gas injection (AGI molding method), we have solved the problems associated with conventional injection molding and achieved a high level of dimensional accuracy that was previously difficult to attain. [Overview] - Solved the issues of conventional injection molding with gas injection (AGI molding method) - A mechanism that maintains pressure (low pressure) from inside the product by injecting nitrogen gas - Significantly reduced the occurrence of sink marks, warping, and burrs - Achieved a high level of dimensional accuracy that was previously difficult *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
