Easily mix various types of liquid and replace piping! A case study of plant utilization in a soy sauce manufacturing company.

The manufacturing of processed foods primarily based on soy sauce involves a process where various seasoning liquids are mixed, and the piping is frequently changed. The liquids are then sent to each mixer, filling machine, and sterilizer. To send liquids to each piece of equipment, we had to remove the clamps to change the piping position and reattach them, which was cumbersome for on-site operations and reduced the production volume. We received an inquiry about whether we could improve operational efficiency by utilizing the rotating structure of swivel joint fittings. By installing a "sanitary swivel joint" at the base of the flexible hose, we were able to respond to the demand for mixing various products and streamline the frequent piping changes, resulting in improved production efficiency.
