360° Swivel Joint for Float suction skimmer Case Study VOL.10
Extract fuel from the clear supernatant (liquid surface)! Here are examples of its use in fuel storage tanks.
We would like to introduce the use of the "swivel joint" adopted by a major engineering company in Southeast Asia that operates in nine countries. Fuel storage tanks contain impurities such as water and sediment that are different from the fuel, and since these impurities are heavier than the fuel, they settle at the bottom of the tank. Therefore, our customers request to extract fuel from the clean supernatant (liquid surface). By combining the swivel joint with piping and a float, we can pinpoint the extraction of the supernatant. This allows the fixed piping to follow the changes in the height of the liquid surface. basic information
【Other Case Summary】 ■Issues - Fuel storage tanks contain impurities such as water and sediment that are different from the fuel. - There is a demand to extract fuel from a clean supernatant (liquid surface). ■Results - Due to the incorporation of a swivel joint in the piping section, it is possible to follow the fixed piping even if the height of the liquid surface changes. - Clean fuel extraction contributes to the safety of aircraft and fuel efficiency. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
