Automation of Sample Preparation for Next-Generation Sequencing
Automation of library preparation, reaction cleanup, and sample normalization.
We will develop and optimize an automation protocol for sample preparation for NGS based on the Freedom EVO NGS workstation. This will allow for parallel processing of many samples and improve the reproducibility of library preparation, while minimizing sample processing errors. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
basic information
The compact Freedom EVO 100 platform serves as the base. It is equipped with the AirLiHa dispensing arm featuring air displacement technology. The 8-channel dispensing arm accommodates a wide dispensing range from 0.5 μL of non-contact dispensing up to 1000 μL. The tip spacing can be adjusted from 9 to 38 mm, allowing for precise dispensing operations of samples and reagents between tubes and plates. The standard layout includes three temperature control units with an incubator featuring temperature control functions for enzyme reactions, as well as a shaker for effectively mixing beads. Additionally, a simple touch screen user interface allows for quick and efficient selection of protocols, equipment setup, and operation.
