This is the latest state-of-the-art plate reader from Tecan, which holds the top market share in the industry. The plate reader can accommodate 96 well plates (plates with 96 holes) and 384 well plates, allowing for measurements of single samples using cuvettes in UV-visible spectrophotometers, as well as multi-sample absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence measurements (analytical chemistry) using plates. It is equipped with detection systems tailored to each measurement mode, which enhances sensitivity while minimizing background noise. During long measurement sessions, the lid can be closed to prevent sample evaporation. Additionally, with the inclusion of a lid lifter and injector, measurements can be conducted under constant temperature conditions without removing the samples.
