Reikem Self-Regulating Heater Cable XTVR Series

This is an electric heater cable for process insulation. It can maintain process temperatures up to 150°C.

The self-regulating heating cable "XTVR series" can maintain process temperatures up to 150°C. The heat-resistant usage of the XTVR heating cable is 150°C for continuous operation and 250°C for intermittent operation. Depending on the specific system configuration of XTVR products and their accessories, it can be used as an electric heating system in Class 1 and Class 2 hazardous locations in Japan. It is the first type-approved system in Japan and complies with JIS testing standards. The XTVR has an outer coating made of fluoropolymer, making it suitable for use not only in general areas exposed to alkalis and organic substances but also in Class 1 and Class 2 hazardous locations. It is a self-regulating heater adopted by various power companies as part of their energy-saving proposals. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Our company is an engineering firm specializing in electric heaters. We started by handling Raychem self-regulating heaters for preventing water pipe freezing. Since then, we have accumulated technology and have undertaken numerous projects from design to construction for fields requiring strict temperature control, such as petrochemicals, food factories, and the power generation industry, including process insulation for piping and tanks. In addition to self-regulating electric heaters with a maximum holding temperature of 150°C, we also handle higher temperature power-limited heaters, MI heaters, and sheath heaters. Currently, the mainstream for process insulation in manufacturing sites is steam or hot water, which consumes large amounts of fossil fuels. However, due to environmental issues and unstable energy costs, there is an increasing number of manufacturing professionals focusing on electric heating.
