DXR3 Smart Raman

High-performance Raman spectrometer for macro sample use.

The Thermo Scientific DXR3 Smart Raman is a high-throughput system designed for multi-sample, multi-purpose analytical laboratories. The DXR3 Smart Raman is a highly automated benchtop macro-sampling Raman system that allows for easy measurements with a push-button operation. It is a reliable device that requires no maintenance. It can directly measure samples in transparent or colored glass bottles, as well as vials, and can also directly measure samples in plastic bags. The measurement spot can be enlarged up to 5 x 5 mm, allowing for average sampling of heterogeneous materials. Accessories are available for the automatic measurement of samples such as well plates, tablet arrays, tubes, and vials, making it easy to perform automatic measurements of numerous samples. Additionally, the DXR3 Smart Raman can be equipped with specialized cells for heating/cooling and electrochemical measurements. With the fiber probe option, it is possible to measure samples that are too large to fit into the sample chamber.

- Spectral range: 3,500 to 50 cm-1 - Adjustable measurement area from 10 μm to 5 mm using high-sensitivity area sampling (VDPS) function - Four types of available excitation lasers: 455 nm, 532 nm, 633 nm, and 785 nm - Equipped with automatic fluorescence correction function and automatic intensity correction function (capable of generating comparable spectra across different devices and excitation lasers) - Wavelength calibration function - Patented automatic cosmic ray removal algorithm Other features: - Polarization-resolving laser avoids the influence of the sample's crystal orientation on the spectrum. - Laser output control function actively manages output to ensure reproducibility of the laser output value on the sample, even until the laser reaches the end of its life or after laser replacement. - Optimal grating adopted for each excitation laser, avoiding performance sacrifices by sharing gratings among multiple excitation lasers. - Unique auto-alignment function that maintains the device condition as if it were new at all times. - Patented Smart Background function automatically corrects the dark current of the CCD detector.
