[Case Study] Dispersion of Expensive Pharmaceutical Candidate Compounds

[Demo application available] The usage of compounds has been significantly reduced to 1/10,000! Cost reduction and time savings through nanoparticleization.

We have prepared candidate pharmaceutical compounds in various sample patterns and are conducting toxicity analyses. Here, we introduce a case of the rotation and revolution nano-milling machine that our customer has implemented. The company handles many expensive compounds, so it is ideal to prepare samples with a small amount of the compound and analyze them without incurring high costs. However, due to the specifications of the equipment used for preparation, it was necessary to process more than 1 kg of the compound at a time to achieve effective milling, which was financially challenging. Therefore, they introduced the "Milling Nano Taro NP-100." Equipped with a cooling function, it has become possible to mill candidate pharmaceutical compounds, which may undergo physical property changes due to heat generation during milling, with greater peace of mind. THINKY Corporation has realized simultaneous processing of stirring and degassing through the concept of combining two types of rotation: rotation and revolution. The "Awatori Rentaro," a rotary-revolution mixer, was born as a device that can process these two opposing processes, "stirring" and "defoaming," which had long been considered separate steps in the material processing process, simultaneously and in a short time. Currently, Awatori Rentaro has grown into a diverse lineup, ranging from small tabletop models for laboratories to large-scale production models. We have received numerous inquiries from various fields both domestically and internationally. THINKY will continue to assist in solving material processing challenges and building a foundation for mass production with our unique material processing technology and know-how.
