Topcon Technohouse Co., Ltd. has developed the phosphorescent safety sign and guidance line inspection device, the "BM-100," which specializes in inspections of photoluminescent materials, and will begin sales at the end of November 2013. The "BM-100" is a luminance meter that enables simple and high-precision inspections not only for the performance evaluation of products using phosphorescent materials but also in locations where phosphorescent guidance signs are installed. In addition to the luminance measurement range and accuracy required for performance evaluation of phosphorescent guidance signs, it features a residual luminance prediction mode. By replacing the optional light receiving unit, it is also possible to measure the illumination and ultraviolet intensity in the installation environment. [Applications] ■ Product development and performance evaluation using phosphorescent materials, and product quality management in production sites ■ Regular inspections of high-luminance phosphorescent guidance sign luminance based on the Fire Service Act ■ Performance management and regular inspections of products using phosphorescent materials, such as phosphorescent guidance signs and phosphorescent tape installed in railway stations and large commercial facilities For more details, please refer to the related materials or contact us.
