Wavelength-tunable semiconductor laser(12)
Wavelength-tunable single-frequency semiconductor lasers consist of a diffraction grating for wavelength selection and tuning, along with a laser diode. They can be selected from a rich lineup ranging from 190 nm to 4000 nm. They achieve single-frequency oscillation and wide wavelength tuning simultaneously, allowing for mode-hop-free tuning of up to 120 nm. The power of these lasers can be amplified using standalone optical semiconductor amplifiers or complete master oscillator power amplifiers (MOPA), enabling a maximum continuous wave (CW) power of 4 W. Most of Toptica's optical amplifier systems employ tapered optical amplifiers. By using wavelength conversion laser systems, we have been able to expand the wavelength range offered in the ultraviolet, visible, and mid-infrared regions. An important characteristic of all laser systems is their low noise (RIN noise and linewidth), as well as low drift. These characteristics have been made possible through the use of uniquely designed high-performance control electronics.

TopTika's single-frequency semiconductor lasers (narrow linewidth lasers) utilize cutting-edge optical semiconductor technology, offering a variety of semiconductor lasers that boast world-class high output as single-mode. For example, the TopMode 405 nm laser achieves a single-frequency output of over 100 mW, which is a record value for industrial lasers! We also provide UV/RGB solutions using frequency conversion semiconductor laser technology, capable of delivering high output in the watt class. Our single-frequency laser series is characterized by a narrow linewidth, allowing for a long coherence length. All models feature excellent wavelength and output stability, and also possess the TEM00 spatial mode.
