Schottky diodes are the optimal devices for detecting terahertz waves in pulse mode or CW mode (i.e., they can be used as terahertz power meters). They bring many benefits to applications that require both high speed and sensitivity, such as terahertz imaging. The wideband spectral band model is ideal for studying ultrafast processes. It is also compatible with signal sources that have high pulse repetition rates, such as typical femtosecond fiber lasers, and possesses the ability to decompose and measure all pulse intensities of terahertz waves.
