Digital Control High-Speed Frequency Locking Module 'FALC pro'

A regulator that simultaneously achieves high speed and ease of use: PI³D² with 10 ns signal delay and remote locking.

The FALC pro is TOPTICA's latest locking module. It is a high-speed regulator capable of supporting the most demanding applications, such as laser driving for ultra-narrow band transitions used in optical clocks (clock transitions) and quantum computers (optical qubits). This regulator is combined with a convenient user interface, allowing for easy optimization of feedback parameters. Additionally, the digital control interface of the analog regulator enables complete remote control. Typical applications of this locking module include laser linewidth narrowing using external reference cavities, such as in Pound-Drever-Hall locking (when used in combination with PDH/DLC pro), locking to an optical frequency comb of a wavelength-tunable semiconductor laser controlled by DLC pro, or phase locking one wavelength-tunable semiconductor laser to another.
