A steak restaurant owner who was troubled by discoloration of beef steaks during refrigeration used a HydroFresh sample under development to vacuum package the beef and store it in the refrigerator, resulting in less discoloration during storage, which was well received. It seems that until now, they had been cutting out and discarding the discolored parts, and this is particularly economically beneficial for high-quality beef.
