Held the "Thermal Design Online Seminar" on 8/28 (co-hosted with the Structural Planning Institute)!
On August 28, we will hold an online seminar co-hosted with Toyota Motor Corporation and the Structural Planning Institute. In this seminar, current designers from component manufacturers will discuss "Key Points of Actual Measurements Using Thermocouples and Heat Flow Sensors," and we will introduce Toyota's high-sensitivity heat flow sensor "Energy Flow." Additionally, we will present a case study on the verification of discrepancies between actual measurements and analysis, showcasing the thermal analysis of the heat flow sensor demonstration kit and its considerations. 【Recommended for】 - Those facing challenges in heat measurement - Those working on verifying discrepancies and aligning actual measurements with analysis - Those engaged in building technologies for thermal design, thermal analysis, and thermal measurements If you are working on verifying discrepancies and aligning actual measurements with analysis, or building technologies for thermal design, thermal analysis, and thermal measurements, please take this opportunity to watch!

Exhibited at the 62nd Japan Heat Transfer Symposium / HTSJ International Heat Transfer Symposium from May 14 (Wednesday) to May 17 (Saturday), 2025!
Toyota Motor Corporation exhibited at the "62nd Japan Heat Transfer Symposium / HTSJ International Heat Transfer Symposium" held at the Okinawa Convention Center! Experts in heat transfer from both Japan and abroad gathered to present research findings and engage in discussions over four days. At our equipment exhibition booth, we showcased a demo kit that allows observation of heat conduction, convective heat, and radiant heat using the heat flow sensor "Energy flow," as well as a demo kit that attaches sensors to a cube to observe variations in heat flux within a space. We prepared a product lineup and introduced phenomena of heat flux that can be observed with the heat flow sensor. Thank you very much to everyone who stopped by. We will continue to introduce our offerings at various exhibition opportunities in the future.

Not missing even the slightest flow of heat! Toyota's thermal flow sensor.
In the business development area of Toyota Motor Corporation, we are developing technology solution businesses that leverage the technologies and know-how cultivated over many years of car manufacturing. The heat flow sensor "Energy flow," which can measure "heat flux" essential for elucidating the mechanisms of temperature changes with high sensitivity and simplicity, is an in-house sensor utilized in Toyota's vehicle development field. It has become an indispensable item for the development of high-efficiency thermal energy management systems/components aimed at a decarbonized society, and it is being used by customers in various industries, including the automotive sector.
