From "Uretech" to "Teratech"
The method of leveling sunken concrete floors by utilizing the foaming and expansion force of urethane resin was devised by Dr. Hakkinen in Finland in the 1970s and spread worldwide under the name "Uretech." In Japan, in July 2001, Mainmark Japan Co., Ltd. (which became Uretech Japan in 2007 and Mainmark in 2015) began construction of the "Uretech method" based on a licensing agreement with "Uretech Worldwide (Finland)," the licensee for sunken correction using Uretech resin. Then, in April 2017, the licensing agreement with "Uretech Worldwide" was amicably terminated, and a unique urethane resin with strength and characteristics suitable for sunken correction and void filling in Japan was developed. This resin, which considers the global environment, will continue to be used under the name "Teratech," inspired by the Latin word "terra," meaning "earth."

"Uretech Japan Co., Ltd." has changed its company name to "Mainmark Co., Ltd."!
"To repair what already exists and use it longer rather than creating something new." Japan is one of the world's leading earthquake-prone countries. Buildings in Japan are constantly exposed to dangers such as earthquake disasters and ground subsidence. "Our role at Mainmark is to 'return tilted buildings to a level position' and 'prevent existing buildings from tilting.'" We are refreshing our image and starting a new challenge!!
