Achieves high-speed, stable, and high-quality bonding of TAB busbar electrodes for battery stacking foils (over 100 sheets). A high-spec ultrasonic bonding machine for the manufacturing of next-generation battery electrodes.

Ultrasonic bonding of battery laminated foils requires the application of a controlled amplitude under a stable pressure for a certain period of time. Our servo press achieves "pressure that follows the behavior changes between laminated foils," which is difficult to control with air press machines, enabling high-quality and stable bonding of multilayer battery foils. This device can bond 140 layers of laminated foil with Al terminals, further improving the efficiency of power extraction from secondary batteries. Additionally, the position information of the high-speed tracking motor and ultrasonic output information are acquired as part of an automated system via Ethernet/IP, significantly contributing to the big data needed for mass production quality standards. *We welcome inquiries for various metal bonding experiments and equipment demonstrations. Features of the Ultrasonic Metal Joining Machine 'USDB': - Adoption of a high-speed precision load control (original program) servo press that affects the stable joining of battery laminated foils and TAB busbar electrodes. - Pressure application without air bumping or overshoot (constant pressure control) and controlled ultrasonic amplitude achieve stable work quality with high repeatability. - Use of FEM-analyzed horizontal vibration horns and a high-rigidity rigid body that withstands processing thrust, enabling wide widths (up to 40mm) and multi-point simultaneous processing. - Unique ultrasonic control method (Rinco ultrasonic oscillation control) equipped with AGM oscillator for workpieces sensitive to frequency and impedance variations, such as laminated foils. - Raw data extracted every few milliseconds can be visualized on the operation panel and PC, allowing confirmation of processing behavior (slipping, sinking, excessive energy, etc.) of laminated foils. - Processing steps utilizing servo motor press control can be set arbitrarily, including processing stroke range, deceleration position, and pre-pressing force before oscillation. This enables the fastest automation tailored to each workpiece. - Data communication via Ethernet/IP, also supports customization for automated machines.
