MotionBoard case: Digitizing the situation that was recorded on paper.
Real-time visualization of process management that relied on human resources.
■Introducing Companies Electronics Manufacturers ■Background In the acceptance inspection of parts, we received the scheduled delivery data for the following week on Thursday, aggregated it in Excel, and created a work plan on paper the day before. However, the paper work plan only indicated the number of deliveries, without revealing how many parts were included in each delivery, and the time required for inspection varied by part. Additionally, as the week progressed, the freshness of the scheduled delivery data decreased, leading to a larger discrepancy with the actual number of deliveries. ■Challenges - We wanted to visualize the process management, which was dependent on manual labor, in real-time. - We aimed to digitize the status of delays that were recorded on paper. ■Effects - Reduced the number of workers constantly involved in the acceptance inspection of parts. - Achieved visualization that closely aligns with the expectations of the manufacturing site.
