PTFE anti-dripping agent | ITAflon

ITAflon PTFE is used as an anti-dripping agent in flame-retardant grades such as PC and ABS.

By adding to various engineering plastics such as PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PBT, m-PPE, PA, and HIPS, it helps impart flame retardancy. ITAflon PTFE becomes fibrous when subjected to shear forces during the melting, mixing, and molding processes of engineering plastics. The fiberization forms a network structure within the resin, which improves the melt tension of the resin. This mechanism allows it to function as an anti-dripping agent and contributes to the flame retardancy of resin materials.

basic information

The basic recommended grade for anti-dripping agents is 'IT-1105-D' with an average particle size of about 5μm. If dispersion is difficult, we recommend the grade 'IT-1101-UL' with an average particle size of about 15μm. Both are made from 100% virgin materials and have obtained FDA certification. Features: ■ Effective with a small amount of addition ■ Good dispersibility and handling ■ FDA certified
