[Slit Processing Example] Fine Slit / Small Diameter Screw M1.7x0.35

Perform dimensional and appearance inspections using image measurement equipment to achieve quality stabilization!

We would like to introduce examples of micro-machining targeting ultra-small screw parts with a total length of 1.3mm class to small-diameter composite parts around 3mm in length, made of SUS303 material. In this case, maintaining the appearance quality of the fine screw parts and stabilizing the machining of the fine slit parts in SUS316 material was required. Our company ensures stable shape accuracy required in the micro-dimension range, including fine screw machining of M1.7×0.35, thin-walled shapes with a head thickness of 0.2mm, and fine slits of 0.5mm or less, using NC automatic lathes. [Challenges] - Occurrence of burrs, deformation, and dimensional variations during machining of small-diameter parts with fine screws and slit sections. - Maintaining the appearance quality of fine screw parts and stabilizing the machining of fine slit sections in SUS316 material. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
