New factory established for EC motor manufacturing, commencing production utilizing high-level injection molding technology.
The fan manufacturing company Ziehl-Abegg has expanded its manufacturing portfolio and accelerated production towards Industry 4.0. An initial investment of 28 million euros was made for the new factory in the Hohenlohe Business Park and for in-house resin production. Additionally, an innovative quality management system has been implemented to bring the error rate in the production of special resin fans close to zero. 【Basic data about Ziehl-Abegg in Hohenlohe Business Park】 ■ Total construction cost: 28 million euros (buildings and machinery) ■ Expanded production area: 7,000 m² ■ Total production area within the business park: 44,240 m² ■ Number of employees working in the business park: 770 (2,200 in Hohenlohe overall, 3,900 worldwide)

This product is designed based on 3D biomimicry inspired by the fins of humpback whales, achieving a maximum efficiency of 79%. It also realizes a noise reduction of up to -7dB.
