The optimization calculation based on AIPOD resulted in a 4.69% reduction in mass!
In this analysis, we will build an automated simulation process for the battery pack and perform optimization with the goal of mass minimization. The software interface provided by AIPOD makes the process setup very simple. For the optimization, the thickness of 36 plates in the battery pack was given as design variables.
