The Future of 5G: ADLINK Introduces 'Edge' to a Global Research Project

ADLINK is one of the ten technology leaders that have joined JB5GRI, the first research initiative focused on exploring technologies for the future of 6G beyond 5G. ADLINK provides expertise and technology in distributed infrastructure management and distributed communication, including edge, fog, and multi-access edge computing. In addition to researching multiple virtual AIoT use cases that anticipate results by 2030, JB5GRI submitted a project proposal called KAIROS to the EU's "Horizon 2020" program, referred to as "Smart Connectivity Beyond 5G."
