The concept of Qseven is an off-the-shelf, multi-vendor computer-on-module that integrates all core components of a typical PC and is implemented on application-oriented carrier boards. Qseven modules come in standard form factors of 70 mm x 70 mm or 40 mm x 70 mm, featuring specific pinouts compatible with high-speed MXM connectors, allowing use with products from any vendor. Qseven modules provide features such as graphics, audio, large-capacity storage, networking, and multiple USB ports for embedded applications. A robust 230-pin MXM connector provides a carrier board interface that can transmit and receive all I/O signals with the Qseven module. This MXM connector is a well-known, proven high-speed signal interface connector widely used in laptop PCI Express graphics cards.
