This document introduces additives and formulations for hand and surface disinfection purposes. BYK itself does not manufacture disinfectants or raw materials for disinfection, but BYK rheology additives are effective in imparting viscosity to mixtures of alcohol based on ethanol or isopropanol and water. Disinfectants and surface cleaners have the advantage of being able to remain in one place for a long time if their viscosity does not decrease with water.
