DISPERBYK-2014 exhibits a balanced polarity and, due to its 100% active ingredients, demonstrates excellent dispersion stabilization effects for organic pigments and carbon black pigments in solvent-based, solvent-free, water-based coatings, and UV-curable systems. With the high deagglomeration effect of DISPERBYK-2014, it is possible to design coating systems with excellent optical properties. The improvement in color strength and transparency is particularly notable, along with high gloss and low haze. In water-based systems, DISPERBYK-2014 can be used for both resin dispersions and resin-free dispersions. Amines, co-solvents, and surfactants can be added to the resin-free dispersion. DISPERBYK-2014 can be used in air-dry systems, two-component systems, baking systems, and radical curing systems.
