BYK-329 significantly reduces the surface tension of paints, leading to improved leveling and enhanced defoaming properties. It particularly improves the wettability of two-component epoxy floor coatings on substrates. It improves leveling and defoaming properties even at low addition levels. This product is very user-friendly and differs from so-called silicone oils. However, please conduct continuous tests to confirm whether foam stability occurs in specific systems. Also, check for recoatability and beading. Recommended Addition Level: 0.05-0.5% of the total formulation Addition Method: BYK-329 can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process (including post-addition).
