BYK-1810, -1811, -1815, -1816, -BYK-1818: PFAS-free defoamers for solvent-based and solvent-free paints.

Defoamers often contain fluorinated silicone to achieve rapid defoaming effects naturally. BYK is expanding its lineup to offer PFAS-free sustainable defoamers as alternatives to fluorinated silicone-based defoamers. BYK-1810, BYK-1811, BYK-1815, BYK-1816, BYK-1818 These five new additives demonstrate high defoaming efficiency and excellent spontaneous defoaming properties comparable to PFAS-containing products, while being completely free of fluorine. These additives can be used in a wide range of solvent-based and solvent-free applications.
