This product is particularly suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic compounds, and its addition improves flame retardancy, especially enhancing dripping behavior and crust formation, serving as a flame retardant additive masterbatch. These features provide significant advantages in applications subject to stringent fire safety regulations, such as cable coatings. BYK-MAX FR 4145 exhibits synergistic effects when used in conjunction with flame retardants, allowing for a reduction in the amount of flame retardant added. Flame retardancy is maintained while improving processability and mechanical properties.
