【SCONA TPPET 4214 PA】Supports the adjustment of molecular weight and viscosity of PET and the utilization of recycled materials. Features SCONA TPPET 4214 PA is a high-performance polymer modifier based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate. This additive, which has reactive epoxy groups, functions as a viscosity promoter for polycondensation polymers by increasing the molecular weight and enhancing the viscosity when added to the base polymer. In this way, excellent processability is achieved during extrusion and thermoforming. Since this additive is PET-based, it is particularly suitable for use in PET-based compounds.
