Thermal spray material

Thermal spray material
There are various types of thermal spray materials depending on the purpose of application, such as the regeneration and longevity of parts and equipment (improvements in wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.), insulation, insulation, and rust prevention. Major thermal spray materials include "metallic components" such as "metallizing," "self-fusing alloys," and "low melting point metals (aluminum, zinc, etc.)," as well as "ceramics" and "plastics," which are further classified based on differences in composition and properties. Additionally, Yutec's thermal spray materials are widely available for various spraying methods, including gas flame spraying (hot and cold), arc spraying, plasma spraying, and HVOF spraying. For example, there is "21031" as a powder for cold gas flame spraying. This is a self-bonding type nickel-based powder alloy that has high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance up to about 750°C, and it also has good machinability. It is often used for the regeneration and repair of sealing parts and bearing parts of various shafts. It has strong resistance to cavitation and particle erosion, and its wear resistance is comparable to that of S45C hardened products. Yutec Japan's specialized staff will propose the most suitable thermal spray materials according to the purpose of application. Please feel free to consult us.
