    Construction work(2)

In the manufacturing industry, a substantial amount of expenses is incurred every year for countermeasures against equipment wear. Even at this moment, your production equipment continues to wear down. If you continue to operate without appropriate and sufficient maintenance, you will eventually have to purchase expensive replacement parts. While it would be ideal if replacement parts are readily available, there may be instances where delivery takes longer than expected. Additionally, in some cases, this could lead to a halt in production for emergency repairs. However, worn or broken parts can be restored to a stronger condition than before through appropriate wear-resistant treatment. Yutec Japan's Repair and Maintenance Service is provided by experienced specialists who are well-versed in the latest construction methods. We offer unique solutions utilizing welding and thermal spraying techniques, along with our proprietary products, to address all issues related to maintenance and wear that our customers face. In our six domestic locations (Yokohama, Sendai, Tochigi, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka), specialists in our welding and thermal spraying service factories solve the problems faced by our customers. For large equipment that is difficult to move, we also offer on-site service at your factory. If you are struggling with equipment repair or extending the lifespan of your machinery, please feel free to consult with us.

    Abrasion-resistant products(12)

By introducing wear-resistant products developed using the welding and thermal spraying technologies that our company has cultivated over many years, you can easily solve issues related to equipment maintenance, wear prevention, and prolonging equipment life. Among these, the "Tero Plate" has been recognized for its excellent performance and track record, winning the "TPM Excellent Product Award (Effective Award)" from the Japan Plant Maintenance Association in 2011. ■ Wear-resistant Plate: "Tero Plate," "CDP Plate" Plates with a hardened layer created by thermal spraying or welding on the surface of mild steel. ■ Wear-resistant Pipe: "Tero Pipe," "Cast Tube" Pipes with a hardened layer created by thermal spraying or welding on the inner surface. ■ Wear-resistant Paddle for Casting: "Tero Paddle" A wear-resistant paddle for high-speed mixers, specially built with wear-resistant material containing ultra-hard particles. ■ Thermal Spraying Plunger Chip for Die Casting: "Tero Plunger" Plunger chips enhanced for heat resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance through thermal spraying.

Yutec Japan proudly offers a unique range of low heat input welding materials with years of trust and proven results, including a wide variety of products from gas rods, arc rods, and TIG rods to wire types. The versatile gas rods and arc rods, composed of eutectic alloys unique to Yutec, are well-received as welding materials that not only reduce heat input on the base material, thereby minimizing cracking and distortion, but also alleviate stress on the base material. We have developed and sold numerous products for surface wear-resistant treatment, repair, and joining applications in the industrial sector, including the low heat input welding rods "EutecTrode series" made from special alloy materials, as well as special alloys "Endotec series" and "CastoMag series" that can be used with commercially available MIG/MAG welding machines. For example, the "MG210" arc welding rod for cast iron has high tensile strength and suppresses rod burn due to its special bimetal core, offering excellent machinability and crack resistance. It is used for repairing cracks in cast iron parts and for buildup repairs on cast iron gears. Our specialized staff will consult with you regarding the welding method, type of base material, welding purpose, and usage environment to recommend the most suitable welding materials from our extensive product lineup. Please feel free to reach out to us for inquiries.

  • Thermal spray material

    Thermal spray material(2)

There are various types of thermal spray materials depending on the purpose of application, such as the regeneration and longevity of parts and equipment (improvements in wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.), insulation, insulation, and rust prevention. Major thermal spray materials include "metallic components" such as "metallizing," "self-fusing alloys," and "low melting point metals (aluminum, zinc, etc.)," as well as "ceramics" and "plastics," which are further classified based on differences in composition and properties. Additionally, Yutec's thermal spray materials are widely available for various spraying methods, including gas flame spraying (hot and cold), arc spraying, plasma spraying, and HVOF spraying. For example, there is "21031" as a powder for cold gas flame spraying. This is a self-bonding type nickel-based powder alloy that has high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance up to about 750°C, and it also has good machinability. It is often used for the regeneration and repair of sealing parts and bearing parts of various shafts. It has strong resistance to cavitation and particle erosion, and its wear resistance is comparable to that of S45C hardened products. Yutec Japan's specialized staff will propose the most suitable thermal spray materials according to the purpose of application. Please feel free to consult us.

  • Thermal spraying device

    Thermal spraying device(11)

At Yutec Japan, we handle thermal spray equipment for each process. Thermal spraying refers to the process of forming a coating by spraying molten particles of materials such as metals, ceramics, cermets, and resins onto a substrate, using a heat source (such as mixed gas combustion or electrical energy). As the name suggests, thermal spraying is a technique that involves "melting" the spray material and "projecting" it onto a pre-treated substrate. - Gas flame spraying: A gas mixture of acetylene and oxygen is burned to create a flame, which forms the thermal spray coating. - Arc spraying: An arc current is generated at the contact point of two wires, melting the material with the heat, which is then atomized with compressed air to form the thermal spray coating. - HVOF spraying: Kerosene and oxygen are explosively combusted inside the spray gun to create a high-speed flame that exceeds the speed of sound, forming the thermal spray coating. - Plasma spraying: Generally, plasma is generated in a gas atmosphere mixed with argon and nitrogen to create a high-temperature flame, forming the thermal spray coating. - Suspension spraying: This is the latest technology in the thermal spray process. The principle is based on plasma spraying, but it allows for the introduction of fine powders (around 1μm) in a slurry state into the plasma flame, forming the thermal spray coating.
