FOSS Japan was founded in 1974, and we are pleased to announce that we will celebrate our 50th anniversary on September 25, 2024. This achievement is entirely thanks to the support of our valued customers, for which we are deeply grateful. Our company is committed to returning to our roots as we strive for "the next 50 years," and we will continue to work diligently. We kindly ask for your continued guidance and encouragement. ■History of FOSS FOSS was established in 1956 by Nils Foss as N. Foss Electric A/S. From the beginning, our primary focus has been on providing rapid and cost-effective analytical methods through the automation of time-consuming traditional analysis techniques, a philosophy that continues to this day. After the initial development of grain moisture meters, we continued to develop analytical solutions for the dairy industry, which remains a major business area for FOSS. In 1997, through a merger with Perten Instruments, including the then TKE and NIR Systems, we expanded our capabilities to offer a wide range of applications across various fields, including grains, milling, feed, and pharmaceuticals.
