We would like to introduce that the article "Rapid Analysis of Soy Sauce by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy" has been published in the Journal of Soy Sauce Research and Technology (Vol. 50). ■ Summary: The FOSS MilkoScan FT 1 has been demonstrated to be a useful tool for the rapid analysis of soy sauce, allowing for quick and easy sample analysis not only in terms of analysis time but also through sample handling using a pipette. Currently, FOSS is selling the MilkoScan FT 3 as the successor to the MilkoScan FT 1. The calibration curve for soy sauce components from this study can be transferred and used with the MilkoScan FT 3. ■ Author Introduction: Martin Andersson has worked at FOSS for 25 years and has been based in Japan since 2003. He holds a PhD in analytical chemistry and is a specialist in chemometrics and analytical applications.
