Fujikura Electronic Components and Connectors Division

Our company is advancing the development and commercialization of pressure-sensitive sensors for robotic hands, utilizing the membrane technology we have cultivated over many years. Our pressure-sensitive sensors come in two types: "pressure-sensitive ink type" and "capacitive type," both of which are being developed for practical use in robotic hand applications. Both types adopt a structure that maintains a constant distance between electrodes when not loaded, achieving highly reproducible detection performance, along with features of being thin, lightweight, and highly durable. Furthermore, by dividing the sensor surface into multiple detection areas (cells), we can identify the contact position, contributing to the delicate gripping control of robotic hands.
