What is an Air Leak Tester? An "Air Leak Tester" is a device that pressurizes the inside (or outside) of a sealed workpiece with air and determines the presence of leaks based on pressure changes. When a master with no leaks and a workpiece with leaks are pressurized, the pressure on the workpiece side decreases, creating a pressure difference between the two. By measuring this pressure difference, the presence of leaks can be determined. Generally, differential pressure air leak testing is widely used, but Fukuda also offers products that utilize direct pressure leak testing and flow meters according to the leak rate, in addition to differential pressure leak testers. Since the air leak tester uses air as the measurement medium, it incurs no running costs and is environmentally friendly.

● What is a pneumatic regulator? It is a self-developed pneumatic regulator with a control reproducibility of ±0.1%. We offer a wide range of products from low flow to high flow. ● What is a regulator? Please use it to adjust the test pressure for leak testing. By supplying a stable test pressure, it enables more accurate measurements.

● What is a hydrogen leak detector? It can measure leaks in small areas that could not be detected in air leak tests and can also identify the leak locations. It is a detector that uses a mixture of 5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen (non-flammable gas: ISO10156:2017) as the tracer gas. ● What is a helium leak test system? It is a leak test system suitable for high-precision or high-pressure leak inspections. The helium leak test system uses helium gas as the detection gas (tracer gas) and detects the helium that has leaked out. It is the leak test method among Fukuda's leak testers that can detect the smallest leaks.

The HDZ-0201 is a hydrogen leak detector designed for installation in equipment. It is used to measure the overall leakage from the entire inspected item (workpiece). - The atmospheric pressure chamber method involves covering the workpiece with a chamber, filling the inside of the workpiece with tracer gas, allowing the leaked gas to accumulate in the chamber, stirring the leaked gas, and forcing circulation to measure the gas concentration with a hydrogen detector. - The vacuum chamber method allows for high-sensitivity measurements by evacuating the chamber and then introducing atmospheric air into the chamber, directing the gas to the hydrogen detector. There are two methods available. It features a compact and lightweight design that is easy to integrate into equipment. Additionally, its concentration resolution capability is ultra-high sensitivity up to 0.1 ppm (depending on set conditions and environmental conditions). Detection principle: Semiconductor type Detection sensitivity: Equivalent to 1×10⁻⁶ Pa·m³/s (depending on inspection conditions and measurement environment) Usage: Equipment-integrated type (dedicated for installation in equipment) Resolution: 0.1 ppm Power supply voltage: DC 24 V External dimensions: W 93 × D 91 × H 97 mm

● What is a packaging container air leak test device? It is a leak testing device that identifies the peeling, tearing, and presence of pinholes in packaging containers for pharmaceuticals and other products, conducting a Container Closure Integrity Test (CCIT). It can be applied to a wide variety of packaging containers, including flexible packaging, bottle containers, and glass containers, primarily in pharmaceutical packaging. The measurement method employs the <sealed chamber method (pressure change leak testing method 1)>. A sample is placed in the chamber, and by applying pressure or vacuum and measuring the pressure change within the chamber, quantitative inspection is performed. It can be used in various scenarios, including offline manufacturing, inline manufacturing, CMC laboratories, quality control laboratories, and stability testing. * The containers subject to inspection are referred to as "work" or "samples." Here, specific samples are referred to as "samples" to differentiate the terminology.

This is a pseudo-defect (reference test piece) that specifies the hole diameter and hole length. It can be used in pressure change leakage testing methods and liquid immersion testing methods. The inspection targets of the "MSX-7003 series" are relatively large electronic devices. 【Inspection Targets】 - LED - Optical devices - High-frequency devices - Power semiconductors - IR sensors - Gyro sensors - Angular velocity sensors - Electrolytic capacitors, etc. The transport system is designed based on "pallet to pallet" to accommodate various types of work. The following three processes are performed automatically by the airtight inspection device: - Helium bombarding - Gross leak test - Fine leak test For packaged products smaller than 10 mm on each side, the work is set up using pallets or trays, followed by helium bombarding ↓ Then transported to the leak test process through high-speed handling ↓ Going through a continuous process from the gross leak test to the fine leak test ↓ And finally, discharged onto a pallet through high-speed handling. It also supports inline operations (the height of the pass line is 940 mm). Please watch the YouTube video from the link below.

In battery manufacturing lines, if components containing copper are used, there is a possibility that metal powder may mix in, dissolve, ionize, and pass through the separator, causing a malfunction that connects the positive and negative electrodes. Such minute metal powders may not be detected during pre-shipment inspections, and even if they are found, they can lead to various issues, such as the need to increase inspection processes to detect them. Therefore, Fukuda has developed a copper-free (all stainless steel) air leak tester that can be safely used in the production lines of battery manufacturers and secondary battery manufacturing equipment manufacturers. This is an air leak tester for battery cases of electric vehicles (EVs). The battery case has the characteristic of being "large with a significant internal volume, and its structure may deform due to internal pressure." As a result, air leak testing generates "noise caused by its large size and capacity" and "noise caused by expansion or deformation due to internal pressurization." To mitigate this noise, this device features a newly developed smoothing function and a linear fitting correction function used in combination during measurement. Additionally, to achieve low-pressure control that is difficult to manage and to expand flow for large volumes, we provide a bypass box (CBU-600) equipped with an electro-pneumatic regulator for precise pressure control and a pressurization valve with a large effective diameter to supply high flow rates. Measurement methods: Work-Work comparison, Work-Master comparison, Fixed Master comparison Measurement pressure range: 10 kPa, 20 kPa, 50 kPa (depending on specifications) Gauge pressure sensor accuracy: ±2% F.S. Differential pressure sensor accuracy: ±0.5% F.S. Group settings: 0 to 31 groups Power supply voltage / Power consumption: AC100 to 240 V / 100 VA
