The single-use pharmaceutical centrifuge GEA Kytero500 has been developed in Erld, Germany, by specialists in GEA's separation technology. This solution applies a successfully proven stainless steel pharmaceutical centrifuge to the single-use field (cell recovery, bacteria, cell therapy) for the first time. By adopting centrifugal force instead of a filter-based recovery method, this new GEA solution achieves high-quality and high-yield separation, serving as a basis for efficient scale-up and scale-down. The Kytero500 series covers a range from 500 liters to 2,000 liters (batch).
