Hertz Electronics Co., Ltd. will update the software of the simple contact wireless transmission unit "WCP LR16J," which enables wireless transmission of up to 16 points between devices over approximately 300m indoors and about 2,000m in line of sight, to version V2.00. By upgrading to V2.00, in addition to the conventional communication configuration of "1:1," it will also support communication configurations of "1:4," "4:1," and "1:N (broadcast communication)." The WCP-LR16J is equipped with our compact LoRa wireless module operating in the 920MHz band and features "easy setup, ready to use when connected to equipment (no wiring work required)," "switchable contact input transmission and contact output reception," and "wireless transmission possible up to approximately 300m indoors / about 2,000m in line of sight." The WCP-LR16J can be used in various cases in industrial settings, including: - Abnormality and operation monitoring from production equipment - Start/stop instructions between AGVs and stations - Alarm monitoring from environmental measurement devices - Demand control of air conditioning outdoor units - Status monitoring of production robots - Monitoring of various liquids in plant tanks and piping, etc.
