Overview of JIS Z 0212 (Packaging Goods and Containers - Compression Test Method): - JIS Z 0212 (Compression Test Method) is a testing method used to evaluate whether packaging goods and containers made of metal, wood, cardboard, paperboard, plastic, or a combination of these materials are appropriate. - The testing method primarily consists of "Method A," which conducts compression tests on packaging goods to examine damage to the contents caused by the compression load specified in JIS Z 0212, and "Method B," which conducts compression tests on empty containers to determine the compression strength of the container itself. Additionally, there is a "Stacking Load Test" specified in the annex of JIS Z 0212, and users can choose the testing method according to their testing objectives.
