The heat source equipment of the Imperial Theatre uses steam boilers and turbo chillers, and since the theatre dislikes noise, the heat source is installed six floors underground. To improve the current situation where significant deterioration due to red rust in the piping has progressed after 34 years since its construction in 2000, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed to convert red rust to black rust and rehabilitate the piping. As of 2021, 21 years later, all issues related to red rust in the piping have been resolved, and there is almost no iron content from red rust in the circulating air conditioning chilled and hot water.
