At Harrods Department Store, galvanized steel pipes were used for the hot water supply system, and after 30 years, red water had occurred. To eliminate the red water in the hot water supply and prevent the need for pipe replacement, an "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed on the primary side of the hot water header. The iron content in the stagnant water at night, which was 1.294 mg/l before installation, decreased to 0.058 mg/l 47 days after installation, and further dropped to 0.022 mg/l 67 days after installation, reducing to 1/58 of the initial value.
