[Case Study] Achieving High-Precision Positioning and Space Saving
Utilizing the feature of having teeth on the inside of the cam ring! An example where the workability of internal wiring and other tasks in the equipment has also improved.
We would like to introduce a case where our "TCG Inner Tooth Ring" was adopted. In order to achieve high-precision positioning for the swivel drive part of observation equipment such as radar, we considered using the TCG ring. However, there were space limitations in the equipment, and there was no room to install a drive source outside the cam ring. After adoption, we achieved space-saving while maintaining high speed ratios and high-precision positioning in observation equipment with space constraints. [Challenges] - There were space limitations in the equipment, and there was no room to install a drive source outside the cam ring. - We also considered rotating the motor and reducer from the center of the swivel axis, but the torque was insufficient, and we were exploring methods. *Details of the case can be viewed through the related link. basic information
**Effects** - Achieved space-saving while maintaining high speed ratio and high precision positioning with observation equipment that has limited space. - By making the cam ring a split type, maintenance work has improved by allowing only the necessary parts of the cam ring to be removed, enhancing the workability of internal wiring and other tasks. *For detailed case information, please refer to the related links.
