[Case Study] Inversion Device for Large Circuit Boards
A case where the running costs such as material costs and labor costs incurred during maintenance have been reduced.
We would like to introduce a case study of our "TCG Ring Unit RGU (R Guide Specification)." We were considering using a timing belt drive for the inversion device of large substrates to address backlash issues. However, as we used it, dust generation due to wear and maintenance challenges from belt elongation became problematic, prompting us to explore other drive methods. After implementation, we achieved non-backlash and low-dust operation. Additionally, the engagement points between the roller pinion and cam ring have rolling contact, resulting in low dust generation and low wear. 【Features】 - The amount of grease required for lubrication is minimal, and the wear on the tooth surface is extremely small, leading to high maintenance efficiency and the potential to reduce running costs such as material and labor expenses incurred during maintenance. - Since it is a unit type that combines the TCG ring, roller pinion, R guide, and ball reducer, it is also possible to reduce the man-hours required for design and assembly. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
