Meech's "RoClean" is a contact web cleaning system developed for the electrode manufacturing process of secondary batteries, including lithium-ion batteries. Dust and foreign substances adhering to the web surfaces of electrode materials and films can lead to a decline in product quality and issues in subsequent processes. RoClean efficiently separates and collects foreign substances adhering to the web surface by combining an ionizing device, a rotating brush roller, and airflow. It contributes to stabilizing quality, reducing defects, and improving productivity in the electrode manufacturing process of secondary batteries, where high cleanliness is required.

■ High Surface Dust Removal Performance The rotating brush roller physically removes dust and foreign substances adhered to the web surface. By combining static elimination and airflow, it effectively addresses foreign substances attached due to static electricity. ■ Integration of Static Elimination and Cleaning Static electricity is removed at the entrance and exit of the web, reducing the adhesion of foreign substances. It also suppresses the re-adhesion of foreign substances removed by the brush. ■ Reliable Collection of Removed Foreign Substances Foreign substances separated from the web surface by the brush are suctioned and collected by a dedicated AHU air handling unit. This minimizes the scattering of foreign substances around the device, maintaining a stable cleaning environment. ■ Compatible with Integration into Electrode Manufacturing Lines Due to its structure designed to be installed on guide rollers, integration into existing lines can be considered.
