Announcement of the new release of the 1.5mm pitch drawer connector "FAS series" cable extension type.
Kell Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of a new cable extension type as a variation of the 1.5mm pitch drawer connector "FAS series," which is already on sale. The newly released "FAS series" cable extension type is a cable-to-cable connector developed in response to market demands. The product offers three types of crimp contacts of different lengths and allows for three stages of staggered contact (live insertion and extraction) to be set at any position, thereby expanding design flexibility. Additionally, similar to the drawer connectors already offered by the company, the connector's guiding angle has been widened to facilitate positional adjustment during diagonal mating. To reduce stress after mating, a sufficient floating mechanism (±1.4mm in the XY direction) has been provided. Furthermore, to take advantage of this, the guiding amount has been set large at ±3mm in the XY direction. Additionally, the structure ensures that the contacts do not touch during the guiding phase, allowing the connectors to align straight before the contacts make contact, thus preventing pin buckling. *For more details, please refer to the materials below or feel free to contact us.

Announcement of the new release of the "DT Series" high-stack type floating connector with 0.5mm pitch for high-speed transmission.
KEL Corporation will newly release the high-stack type of the 0.5mm pitch floating connector "DT Series" compatible with high-speed transmission. A floating connector is one that is equipped with a mechanism (floating mechanism) that absorbs vertical and horizontal errors that occur when mounting the connector on a circuit board. By allowing the connector to move, it can absorb errors and misalignments during mating, thereby reducing stress on the connector and the circuit board. It offers advantages such as absorbing mounting tolerances on the circuit board, enabling multiple installations on the same board, and reducing stress on the connector soldering area. The newly released "DT Series" high-stack type is available in four heights of 17, 18, 19, and 20mm in response to market demands for stack connections. The company's compact floating connectors are adopted in various electronic devices across different markets due to their high versatility, and they plan to further expand their market presence by developing more variations. *For more details, please refer to the materials below or feel free to contact us.*

Announcement of the new release of the 0.5mm pitch FFC compatible 2-piece connector "TMC02E/41E Series" by KEL.
KEL (President: Etsuro Doi, located in Tama City, Tokyo, phone 042-374-5800) has newly released the 0.5mm pitch FFC compatible two-piece connector "TMC02E/41E series." The company has previously developed the "TMC01 series" connectors for 0.5mm pitch ultra-thin coaxial cables, which support high-speed differential transmission. The newly released "TMC02E/41E series" is an FFC compatible connector. This series is a high-speed transmission connector compatible with V-by-One® HS from Zain Electronics, and like the TMC01 series, it features multiple ground terminals to improve transmission characteristics and EMI characteristics. *For more details, please download the materials.

Ker, further enhancement with the additional release of floating connector variations.
KEL (President: Etsuro Doi, Tamashi, Tokyo, Phone: 042-374-5800) will release additional variations of the floating connector "DY Series." 【What is a floating connector...?】 It is a connector equipped with a mechanism (floating mechanism) that absorbs vertical and horizontal errors that occur when mounting the connector on a circuit board. By allowing the connector to move, it can absorb errors and misalignments during mating, thereby reducing stress on the connector and the circuit board. Benefits include absorption of mounting tolerances on the circuit board, the ability to mount multiple connectors on the same circuit board, and reduced stress on the soldering area of the connector.
