Cooling tower
"Chemical-free" water quality management solution for cooling towers!
Cooling towers that support factory production lines and building air conditioning are constantly exposed to outside air and maintain a moderate water temperature, creating an environment that is extremely conducive to the proliferation of microorganisms. If left unattended, the risk of Legionella bacteria proliferation and the occurrence of algae and slime can reduce the overall performance of the equipment. Kitz's "Pure Cleaner" simultaneously achieves "disinfection" and "purification" of cooling water without relying on chemicals, using AOP technology that combines ozone, ultraviolet light, and photocatalysts. 【Features of Pure Cleaner that Achieve Chemical-Free Solutions】 ■ Disinfection through powerful oxidation with "OH radicals" ■ Non-chemical water quality management ■ Combination with scale prevention products (optional) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
basic information
**Challenges of Cooling Water Faced by Management Personnel** ■ Proliferation of Legionella bacteria: The risk of serious health hazards to the surrounding environment from bacteria contained in mist (aerosols) that disperse from cooling towers. ■ Occurrence of algae and slime: Adhering to pipes and packing materials, leading to reduced heat exchange efficiency, nozzle clogging, and even corrosion. ■ Scale issues: Concentration and adhesion of components in the water significantly diminish cooling capacity. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

On Water Day, we will hold the "Kitts Water Splash Event" to learn about the importance of water.
Kitz held the "1st Kitz Water Sprinkling Event" on August 7, 2026, at the Chino Factory in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, in conjunction with Water Day (August 1) and Water Week (August 1-7). The Kitz Group has supported the water infrastructure of society, including water supply and sewage systems, with its core valve business. This event, held in line with Water Day and Water Week, was designed as an opportunity for each employee to learn the importance of water, raise awareness about the effective use of water resources and environmental conservation, and reaffirm the value and role that Kitz provides to society. Before the water sprinkling, the surface temperature had risen to about 52°C, but it was confirmed to have decreased by about 15°C after the event, allowing participating employees to once again experience the cooling effect of water and the importance of effective water resource utilization. ■ Water purified with Pure Cleanser was used For this water sprinkling, reclaimed water purified from groundwater within the factory using our water treatment device "Pure Cleanser" was utilized. By employing advanced oxidation processes (AOP) using ozone, ultraviolet light, and photocatalysts to remove color and odor, we are achieving both effective use of water resources and reduction of environmental impact.
