Contec has developed the "DX-U1220" (hereafter referred to as the new product), an industrial edge AI computer equipped with NVIDIA(R) Jetson Xavier NX(TM), featuring a large-capacity SSD and additional expansion interfaces. A total of two models will be newly added to the lineup, with sales starting in November 2022. The new product comes standard with a large-capacity NVMe 256GB storage, allowing for the storage of extensive learning libraries and data, as well as enabling long-term data logging. Additionally, it is equipped with USB3.2 Gen2 x4 ports to connect multiple USB cameras simultaneously, which are used for visual inspection on manufacturing lines, and a convenient serial port (RS-232C/422A/485 1 port) for connecting peripherals and sensors. With the addition of this new product, the DX series equipped with NVIDIA(R) Jetson now has a total of seven models in its lineup.
