Contec will begin accepting orders for its new wireless LAN access points for the Chinese market, "FLEXLAN(R) FXA5020-CN and FXS5000-CN," equipped with mesh Wi-Fi and smart roaming, based on the concept of "pursuing an uninterrupted wireless LAN," starting in mid-October 2024. The new products are wireless LAN access points compliant with the new Wi-Fi 6E standard (IEEE802.11ax). The implementation of technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and Spatial Reuse has increased communication speeds. Additionally, significant improvements have been made to reduce throughput degradation and latency that occurred when using multiple child stations simultaneously. The FXA5020-CN allows for system construction tailored to various environments by enabling the installation of various optional antennas in addition to the included antenna. The FXS5000-CN features a compact design with an integrated antenna, making it suitable for space-saving applications in embedded use.
