Contec has developed a compact all-in-one PLC for embedded use based on Raspberry Pi, equipped with CODESYS software PLC, which can expand I/O functions with HAT-sized boards. Sales will begin on September 26 exclusively on our direct online store, CONTEC e-shop. Contec has been contributing to the development of industrial use of PCs since 1982, when personal computers (PCs) were in their infancy, by providing interface boards necessary for building PC-based measurement and control systems, continuing to innovate and adapt to expanding buses and operating systems. The new product is a small embedded PLC based on our original board computer using the latest embedded module from Raspberry Pi, Compute Module 4 (CM4), and implements the world's most widely used software PLC, "CODESYS." Utilizing our extensive peripheral assets for Raspberry Pi, including the "CPI series," it allows users to build various control applications using the world standard PLC language compliant with IEC 61131-3.
