Phenolic resin

Phenolic resins are widely used in industrial applications due to their characteristics of thermosetting, heat resistance, and low cost, and they have been used in casting for a long time. Lignite has been quick to engage in casting-related applications, consistently providing new technologies to main users such as automobile manufacturers, machinery parts manufacturers, and cast iron pipe manufacturers. Molds typically use refractory materials (sand), starting with silica sand, and the binders have historically included clay and linseed oil, with inorganic materials like water glass (sodium silicate) being mainstream in modern times. However, in recent years, there has been a shift towards more productive organic materials. Among these, phenolic resins are particularly highly regarded for their high quality.
