Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation handles "Ceramic Matrix Composite Materials (CMC)" that combine lightweight properties, rigidity, and moldability. Our CMC materials, which combine carbon fibers and metal materials, possess features such as high rigidity, high heat resistance, high thermal conductivity, lightweight, wear resistance, and low dust generation, and are used as brake materials for mobility and components for industrial machinery. Additionally, we are also exploring high moldability and associated cost reduction while maintaining the characteristics of these CMC materials. We are already progressing with sample work for multiple customers.
